New DelhiSinger Shalmali Kholgade tied the knot with sound engineer Farhan Shaikh on November 22 in the presence of family members. While other celebs opted for lavish celebrations, the couple decided to get married in their living room. Their wedding was quite special as both the lovebirds had taken the marriage vows according to Hindu and Islamic traditions. After getting married in an intimate ceremony, the two hosted a reception for their loved ones.
Neeti Mohan shared a video to extend warm wishes to Shalmali from the fun-filled party. She wrote a heartfelt post for the newly wed singer, thanking Farhan for making Shalmali ‘feel like a queen’. She wrote, “Can’t keep calm because you got married @shalmiaow. Watching your friend get married and dance with you like this is the best feeling ever. Thank you @farhanfshaikh for making my friend feel like a queen. Wishing you both to be together for the rest of your life. I love you. Thank you @muktimohan for capturing this moment.”
Neeti and Shalmali can be seen having a blast while shaking a leg with each other on the action numbers. Mohan also lifted the ‘Lat Lag Gayi’ hitmaker to the tune of ‘Na Jaa’.
Shalmali and Farhan’s wedding reception turned out to be a star-studded affair as several tinsel town celebs attended the party. The ‘Balam Pichkari’ singer shared a picture from the party on Instagram along with a heartfelt note.

While the bride wore a white dress, the groom complimented her in a formal suit.
Shreya Ghoshal, Neeti Mohan and other celebs commented on the post. Neeti wrote, “You have my heart forever” while Ghoshal commented, “Hearty congratulations @shalmiaow @farhanfshaikh beautiful couple. May your journey ahead together be blissful.”
Shalmali is known for her hit songs like ‘Parshaan’, ‘Manwa Likes to Fly’, ‘Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai’. He has sung songs in many languages including Marathi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil.
