Badal said the BJP-led government at the Center was going to a new low in the abuse of power to deal with the democratic opposition.
“You press the DSGMC president, slap and then point a gun at his head and say you leave (Sad) or you will be sent behind bars,” Badal said.
“But I am so disappointed and saddened that instead of being true to the traditions of his religion against repression, Sirsa chose to bow down. It was shameful, especially from someone who has been criticized by the Sikh ‘qaum’ (community) and the SAD so much. Respected,” Badal said.
He said Punjab It is a border state and his party is an example of mutual brotherhood.
“If the Center feels that this will weaken the Akali Dal, they will not succeed,” he said.

A SAD statement had earlier said that a case has been registered against Jathedar Harmeet Singh Kalka, president of Sirsa, SAD Delhi, and 11 other members of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee headed by Sirsa.
“But when all other members lived up to the traditions of the Khalsa Panth in fighting oppression, it is unfortunate that Sirsa succumbed to the pressure and betrayed the Khalsa Panth and the soul,” he had said.
“This new attack is a continuation of the old strategy of mixing repression, repression and conspiracy to break the spirit of the Sikh community,” Badal said.
“Let them try everything. Repression can’t break us. The Mughals tried. The British tried. Congress rulers including Indira Gandhi tried. The whole world knows what the result was. It will be no different this time.” ,” They said. said.
