Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reportedly parted ways. It is being said that the latter has also moved out of JLo’s LA home.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s divorce rumours have been making headlines for the last few days. While the couple has not issued any official statement as of now, JLo was recently asked about the alleged split while she was promoting her upcoming movie Atlas. However, the actress shut down the reporter. A video of the incident has now surfaced on social media.
In the viral clip from one of the Atlas’ promotional events in Mexico, Jennifer Lopez was asked by a reporter to address her divorce rumours. “Are the rumours real?” the journalist asked. However, JLo chose to remain silent and shut down the reporter saying, “You know better than that.” Watch the video here:
Are Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Getting Divorced?
Last week, In Touch Weekly reported that Jennifer’s relationship with Ben Affleck has hit a rough patch. A source cited by the entertainment portal claimed, “Ben Affleck has hit a breaking point with Jennifer Lopez and has moved out of the home they share.” “‘The writing is on the wall — it’s over,’ ‘They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben‘s] not to blame!’” the insider added.
While the reason for their alleged divorce was not reported, it was said that the couple parted ways because “she can’t control him, and he can’t change her”. “He’s focusing on his work and his kids now. Ben already moved out and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” the source claimed.
Later, Ben was also spotted house hunting in Los Angeles recently. The actor was seen driving his sports car in LA’s Tony Brentwood, California and in the neighbourhood areas. Reportedly, he was trying to find a new place to stay since he already moved out of JLo’s place.
While Ben and Jennifer have not issued any statement as of now regarding their alleged divorce, the latter recently made a rare comment about the Gone Girl actor. She appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and shared the story of the engagement ring that Ben presented to her ‘years ago.’
Despite their much-publicised breakup in 2004, J-Lo and Ben evolved over the years, culminating in their rekindled romance and eventual marriage in July 2022.
