MumbaiVeteran Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah, who was admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital on June 29, has been discharged on Wednesday (July 7) morning. The ‘Dirty Picture’ actor was hospitalized after contracting pneumonia. Naseeruddin’s son Vivaan Shah shared two pictures of his father in which he can be seen with his wife Ratna Pathak Shah.
Vivaan posted pictures on his Instagram story to inform fans that his father has returned home. Naseeruddin Shah can be seen watching something while his wife Ratna was sitting on the bed.

The ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ actor was treated after a ‘minor patch’ was found in his lungs. Last week, Naseeruddin’s secretary while talking to ABP News revealed that he had to be hospitalized as a patch was found in his lung.
“He is in the hospital for two days. He is under medical supervision. He was brought in for pneumonia. A patch was found in his lung and he needed to be admitted to the hospital immediately. His condition is stable and he is responding well to the treatment,” Jayaraj told ABP News.
Naseeruddin was admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital, where Dilip Kumar breathed his last. The Tragedy King of Bollywood passed away on 7 July at the age of 98. He was buried with full state honours in the Juhu cemetery.
On the professional front, Shah was last seen in ‘Mee Raksam’, which released on ZEE5. The play also starred Aditi Subedi and Danish Hussain in lead roles. The 70-year-old actor will now entertain the audience in ‘The Miniaturist of Junagadh’.
