Volvo C40 Recharge electric SUV unveiled in India: Price & features

New Delhi: Volvo Cars India has introduced its second electric car in India, the Volvo C40 Recharge SUV. Details about the pricing of this car will be announced during its launch in August 2023, and deliveries will start in September 2023.

Color Options for Volvo C40 Recharge:
The company has introduced this car with six color options, which include Crystal White, Onyx Black, Fusion Red, Cloud Blue, Sage Green and Fjord Blue.

Design of Volvo C40 Recharge:
The electric SUV features front fascia design, LED headlights, vertical LED taillamps and 19-inch alloy wheels with diamond-cutting.

Volvo C40 Recharge Cabin:
Talking about the cabin of this electric car, it includes charcoal and blue inserts. The cabin includes a 12.3-inch driver display, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, four-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, power-adjustable passenger seat, suede textile/Microtec upholstery and three-spoke leather. Volvo C40 Recharge battery and driving range:
The electric SUV is equipped with a 78 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that offers a single-charge WLTP certified range of 530 km. It has been introduced in a single variant with dual electric motors and all-wheel-drive system. The power pack generates maximum power of 480 hp and peak torque of 660 Nm. The top speed of this car is 180 km/h and it is capable of accelerating from 1-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. Also, with fast charging, the car can charge up to 80% in just 27 minutes.

Volvo C40 Recharge Price:
The company has not yet disclosed the price of the car, but it is expected to cost around Rs 60 lakh.

Competition:
In the Indian market, Volvo C40 Recharge will compete with electric cars like Mercedes-Benz EQA, Mini Cooper SE, Audi Q3 Sportback and Kia EV6.
