While LU officials said that they had made adequate arrangements to ensure that the Covid-19 safety protocols were in place, social distancing went for a toss after students exited the classes after the exams. However, before entering the examination hall, the students wore facemasks and used sanitizers. Teachers and other administrative staff were seen following the norms of social distancing. “We were excited to see our friends but this time there were no welcome hugs. We were under the watchful eyes of our teachers. We were not allowed to be on campus after the exams,” said a student.
Officials said 205 students appeared for BBA, BBA (IB), BBA (MS) and five-year MBA exams, while 173 appeared for MBA (FC), MBA (HR), MBA (whose market) documents. In BTech, 236 students took the exam, 131 students of BCA took the exam.
“Usually 70 students are accommodated in a room, but keeping in mind the social distancing, only 25 students are accommodated in a room. All the students were made to sit 25 minutes before the exam. Those who did not have a mask were provided one,” said LU spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava.
