Rajasthan is known all over the world for its heritage. One of these heritage is Kumbhalgarh. Its wall is about 36 kilometers long. Which is called ‘Great Wall of India’. Now a long wall is going to be built in Rajasthan itself. Which will be 40 kilometers long. The work of this wall has also started in Bikaner. Money is being raised for the wall only with the help of people.

This 9 inch thick wall is being built to protect 27 thousand bighas of land, three lakh khejri trees, four thousand cows, one thousand indigo cows, five thousand deer, four thousand rabbits and innumerable snakes and rats. It will take about 70 lakh bricks to build this 40 km long wall.

The special thing is that no cooperation is being taken from the state or central government in this wall being built at a cost of five crore rupees. Whatever is happening is happening only on the basis of environment lover Brijnarayan Kiradu. Kiradu has included the whole family with him in this environmental yagya.

Kiradu not only devoted his life to protecting such a vast area, but also fought with landowners dozens of times, testified in many court cases. About 40 km long wall is being built around this land so that no one can encroach inside.

Brijnarayan Kiradu is raising five crore rupees with public support to secure the anonymous sanctuary dedicated to wildlife and animals.

Kiradu has laid down his life to save Gochar. Now when the general public is spending crores of rupees to secure it completely, they get emotional. Daily newspaper Even while talking to him, he started crying several times. Kiradu says that if the general public wants to take clean oxygen, then such places have to be saved.

Where is this wall being built?
Actually, this wall is being built to protect the transit, it is very adjacent to Murlidhar Vyas Nagar of Bikaner city. This wall will be visible on one side of the national highway leading to Jaisalmer. This is not a century but a transit land in Bikaner. Maharaja Karan Singh had marked this land in his time to provide green fodder to the cows.

It is recorded in the revenue records that on this 27 thousand 205 bigha 18 biswa land, there will be arrangement for fodder only for cows. No other animal can graze here. In addition to cows, there is a provision of penalty for grazing other animals including sheep, camels. Slowly the occupation started here, so Brijnarayan Kiradu took up the responsibility of security. Kiradu, who had spent his whole life in the protection of this land, was attacked many times, implicated in false cases, but he kept fighting for this land. Many times the governments tried to cut the colony here, but Kiradu’s opposition was overwhelming. He neither allowed the colony to be cut here nor encroached upon.

Why the need for a boundary wall?
People tried to capture many places on the way from Bikaner’s Murlidhar Vyas Nagar Colony to Nal. Some have built a park and some have built temples in the transit land. In such a situation, in the past, Kiradu told about this problem to former minister Devisingh Bhati. Bhati, who has been working for the transit for the last several years, also considered building the boundary wall as the last option. After this it was understood that if the transit is to be protected then a 40 km long boundary wall has to be built. This was not an easy task. In such a situation, public cooperation was appealed. In just 15 minutes, Bhati supporters and Gauchar Rakshaks raised Rs 50 lakh. Now that the process has started, it is expected that five crore rupees will also be raised.

Apart from cows, many animals like deer, rabbits and Nilgai also roam on this land of transit.
