Telangana Covid Cases: Telangana reports 301 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths. Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 301 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths on Monday, while the number of active cases in the state stood at 5,505.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,59,844 and the death toll is 3,886. The number of active containment zones in the state was 16. Jagtial, Karimnagar And Nalgonda has most of the active containment zones in the state.
A total of 339 patients were declared healthy on Monday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,50,453. The case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 per cent while the recovery rate is now 98.57 per cent. Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.8 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.2 per cent have been symptomatic.
On Monday, 67,720 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus. Telangana has now completed testing 2.50 crore samples and has reached 6.72 lakh sample tests per million population.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 70 cases on Monday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri reported 12 cases, Ranga Reddy 16 and Sanga Reddy 3. outside of Hyderabad City And its outskirts Karimnagar recorded the highest number of cases with 31 new cases.
