Satish Kaushik Birth Anniversary: It was on March 9, 2023, when the entire nation woke up to the heartbreaking news of veteran actor Satish Kaushik’s demise. His legacy will always be cherished and looked up to by budding actors.

Satish Kaushik, who made his debut in Shekhar Kapur’s 1983 film Masoom, has several projects including Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Kaagaz 2, Guns Aur Gulab, Emergency and Patna Shukla awaiting his release. 1. Pop Kaun?
   Pop Kaun released only a few days after the death of Satish Kaushik? exclaims the ensemble cast and has everyone rolling on the floor laughing. Premiering on March 17, Pop Who? The show sees Satish Kaushik sharing screen space with iconic comic stars from the Indian film industry including Johnny Lever, Saurabh Shukla, Chunky Pandey, Rajpal Yadav and Ashwini Kalsekar.
2. Chattriwali
   Satish Kaushik was also seen in Chhatriwali, released in 2023. Tejas Prabha and Vijay Devaskar’s comedy-drama revolves around sex education. The film, which premiered on Zee5 on January 20, also featured Rakul Preet Singh, Sumeet Vyas, Rajesh Tailang, Dolly Ahluwalia, Rakesh Bedi and Prachi Shah.

   While Subhash Ghai’s multi-starrer primarily revolves around Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit, Bhumika Kashiram, essayed by the late actor, is truly unforgettable. 2. Saajan Chale
   We all know what a lethal combination it makes when Satish Kaushik shares screen space with Bollywood’s Hero No. 1 Govinda. So in 1996 both of them proved it once again. In David Dhawan’s Saajan Chale Sasural, Satish Kaushik played Govinda’s friend Muthu Swamy, who is a musician. And he was so convincing in his role that once again he won the Filmfare Award in the Best Comedian category.
3. Pardesi Babu
   Manoj Agarwal’s Pardesi Babu once again won him the award in the Best Comedian category. This time he received a Bollywood Movie Award for playing the role of Harpal ‘Happy’ Singh. The film also starred Govinda, Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty Kundra
4. Kaagaz
   In 2021, Satish Kaushik gave the Indian film industry a beautiful story of a man who has been declared dead on paper by the government. Kaagaz is not only helmed by him but also stars Satish Kaushik with Pankaj Tripathi playing a pivotal role. For his stellar performance in the 2021 film, Satish Kaushik was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in the Best Supporting Actor category.
5. Thar
   Thar was the project that once again saw the iconic pair of Anil Kapoor and Satish Kaushik share the screen space. The Netflix crime drama film was released in 2022 and featured Satish Kaushik in the role of Constable Bhure.
