On Saturday, at the reception of Hotel Taj (Colaba) in Mumbai, an unidentified person called and told that security should be increased at the rear gate of the Taj, as two people wearing masks are going to enter with guns. There was a security alert after this phone. Tightening the security of all entry and exit gates, the local police were informed about this.

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the team of Mumbai Cyber ​​Cell and Crime Branch started its investigation and soon it came to know that it was a fake call and a 14-year-old boy had done this to prank. The boy hails from Karad, Maharashtra, and is currently being interrogated by him and his father.

The incident happened around 3.30 pm and the police cracked the case in just one hour and caught both of them. The boy’s father told that he has no information about the son’s action. Inquiry is on in the matter. No reason has been revealed behind the minor’s doing so.

A similar case had come to the fore before
Another such case came to the fore in the month of June last year. A man calling himself a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist twice called the hotel and threatened to blow up the hotel. After the bomb threat, heavy security forces were deployed outside the hotels and all entry points were closed.

Hotel is open only for health workers
Let us tell you that in November 2008, several terrorists carried out attacks on various targets in Mumbai including the Taj Hotel.
