Three killed in bear attack in Jharkhand Ranchi News – Times of India

Garhwa: Three members of a family were killed and three others were injured in an attack by a wild bear in Jharkhand’s Garhwa district.
He said that the incident took place in Barkol Khurd village of Bhandaria police station area when the group was returning home around 8 pm on Friday night.
The injured have been admitted to Garhwa Sadar Hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Sunit Gidh (40), Anit Gidh (35) and Rajkumar Oraon (37), officials said. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
Divisional Forest Officer, Garhwa South, Shashi Kumar Said that four lakh rupees will be given to the families of those killed. bear attackWhile the injured will be given two lakh rupees each for treatment.
