The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said that Modi has given this direction after reviewing the human resource situation in all government departments and ministries.
This decision of the government has come amid constant criticism from the opposition on the issue of unemployment. A large number of vacancies are frequently flagged off in various government sectors. In a tweet, the PMO said, “PM Narendra Modi reviewed the human resource situation in all departments and ministries and directed that the government should recruit 10 lakh people in mission mode in the next 1.5 years.”
