Justin Bieber revealed on his social media that he has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome and due to it the right side of his face is paralyzed. He also showed fans that he can neither blink nor smile to the right because of this. He also revealed that this was the reason why he had to stop Justice World Travel
On Friday evening, the singer shared a video on his Instagram. He explained, “I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it’s from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ears and my facial nerves and causes my face to paralyze. As you can see, This eye isn’t blinking, I can’t smile on this side of my face, this nostril won’t move.
He continued, “So, I have complete paralysis on this side of my face. So for those who are disappointed by my cancellation of the next show, I’m just not able to physically, obviously, do them. That’s enough. Serious, as you can see.” Watch the video here:
Justin explains that he has been doing facial exercises and will need time to ‘rest and relax’ and gradually return to doing what he was born to do.
Justin Bieber’s Justice World Tour was canceled earlier after he and wife Hailey Bieber tested positive for COVID-19. It was also the pandemic that led to the cancellation earlier. As a part of this tour, Justin was also supposed to perform in New Delhi, but now fans will have to wait.
Earlier, Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey had suffered a stroke due to a blood clot in her brain. He had also shared a video and explained what had happened. She later confirmed that she had recovered from it.
