Former MK Yael Dayan passed away on Saturday at the age of 85. Dayan, according to Israeli media.
Dayan, the daughter of the Chief of Staff and former Defense Minister Moshe Dayan, promoted groundbreaking issues and worked to strengthen the peace process upon her election to the 13th Knesset on behalf of the Labor Party.
In her last years, she served as the deputy mayor of Tel Aviv.
