Jacqueline Fernandez halted at Mumbai airport, ED to inquire in Sukesh Chandrasekhar case

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was stopped from boarding a flight at the Mumbai airport, and will be brought to the ED office for questioning in a case related to the investigation of thug Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The airport security forces were working on a lookout circular issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

The actress was detained for some time but now she has reached her home. CNN-News18 Sources say that he may be brought to Delhi. Jacqueline has allegedly benefited from money laundering where Sukesh gifted her expensive cats and a horse.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a 7,000-page chargesheet against alleged swindler Sukesh Chandrashekhar, his wife actress Leena Maria Paul and six others in a money laundering case of Rs 200 crore. According to the chargesheet, as per reports, Sukesh revealed during interrogation by the officials that he had gifted goods worth several crores to Jacqueline. He also claimed to give gifts Nora Fatehi a luxury car.

according to a India Today’s report, the gift given by Sukesh to Jacqueline went into several crores. The report alleged that Sukesh and Jacqueline started talking to each other in January 2021, after which they sent him expensive gifts worth over Rs 10 crore. The expensive gifts include a diamond-studded jewelery set, crockery, four Persian cats (one cat costs around Rs 9 lakh) and a horse worth Rs 52 lakh.

Some pictures of Jacqueline and Sukesh having fun with each other have gone viral on social media. Recently a picture surfaced in which Sukesh is standing behind Jacqueline and kissing on the cheek and they are clicking a mirror selfie. In another photo, Jacqueline showed Sukesh kissing in front of the mirror. As per reports, the picture is from April and June this year when Sukesh was released from jail on interim bail. There are 15 FIRs registered against Chandrashekhar, 27, a native of Bengaluru. In order to lead a lavish lifestyle, he duped people of several crores in Bengaluru and Chennai. He is currently lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
