He said that the center located in the old Goa Institute of Management campus is the first integrated health center in the state, from where the medical staff Goa Medical CollegeGoa Dental College and Directorate of Health Services will be present.
The 24×7 facility, with its dedicated 108 ambulance, will be a full fledged contingency unit with general outpatient department (OPD) and a laboratory for testing. Plans to procure X-ray machines, ultrasound machines and other key medical diagnostic equipment for PHCs are also in the pipeline. “There was a demand from the people for a health center in Ribandar.
