The Delhi Jal Board on Saturday said water supply in North, North-West and West Delhi will be partially affected as the production of clean water at water treatment plants in Haiderpur and Bawana has been affected. He appealed to the people to use water judiciously.

“Due to low receipt of raw water in Carrier Line Channel (CLC) at Delhi Sub Branch (DSB), Haiderpur and fluctuations in DSB and CLC and abnormal floating material, production of clean water from water treatment plants in Haiderpur phase was affected -I, Phase-II, Bawana, Nangloi, Dwarka WTPs,” adding that the situation is being continuously reviewed.

“Delhi Jal Board is trying to rationalize water supply. However, water will be available at low pressure till the situation improves. The affected areas are North Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi and parts of South Delhi including Delhi Cantt. and command area of ​​Deer Park. Therefore, public is requested to make judicious use of water.”

The Board also asked the people to contact its Central Control Room at 1916, 23527679, 23634469 for water related problems and demand for tankers.
