After a huge success with the Telugu action-thriller Yashoda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu Shakuntalam, the mythological drama film directed and produced by acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Gunasekhar is in limelight. The film, slated to release next month, will feature Samantha as Shakuntala, wife of Dushyant and mother of Emperor Bharat. But for now, Samantha is content with sharing frequent updates about herself and even introduced her new ‘best-friend’ to her fans.

On Saturday, the Yashoda actress took to her Instagram stories and posted an adorable selfie of herself rocking a new age pair of glasses. While Samantha smiled ear-to-ear for the cameras, she referred to her glasses as her new favorite companion. Along with the picture, he wrote, “Glasses are my new best friend.”

Earlier this week, Samantha Ruth Prabhu dropped a video from her workout routine which also showed a glimpse of her autoimmune diet. In the clip, she does some strenuous pull-ups in her purple athleisure and thanks the band Gravity for filling her with the strength and motivation to endure a challenging time in her life. It is to be known that Samantha was diagnosed with the rare auto-immune disease, myositis in November 2022, for which she is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, after taking a break from work to treat her auto-immune condition myositis, it appears that Samantha Ruth Prabhu has already resumed work. According to a news portal, the actress has now joined hands Bollywood Star Varun Dhawan for the Indian adaptation of the science-fiction series Citadel. As Shakuntalam, it depicts a whimsical tale of love set in Kashyapa Kanumalu (Kashmir), the grandeur and grandeur of Dushyanta’s Puru dynasty makes the film extremely extravagant. The film is all set to release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Earlier, the actress had taken to social media and shared, “The most difficult part of Shakuntalam was maintaining grace and posture while walking, talking, running and even crying. And grace is not my thing ЁЯШВ Had to take a training session for it! Should have taken Sasha (my pet dog) along. Obviously, it is not even about him. #like mother like daughter”.
