Bihar Chief Minister hit back at the opposition leaders for issuing different statements on the deaths due to spurious liquor. Patna News – Times of India

Patna: Recently, Bihar CM has hit back at the opposition leaders for making different statements on the death of people in the poisonous liquor scandal. Nitish Kumar Said on Monday that prohibition is not his personal matter, it is a public matter and all political parties should work unitedly to implement complete prohibition in the state.
“We (all political parties) unitedly decided in favor of complete prohibition in the state. But these days, I feel very sad when some people make different statements. Why do you issue only statements? Why are the wrong people not found? Caught? If something is going wrong somewhere, inform the appropriate authorities,” Nitish said while answering a question from the media after his ‘Janata Ke Darbar Mein Chief Minister’ program. He also said without taking the name of the opposition leader.
“When the bill related to complete prohibition was passed, how did people from all political parties unitedly support it in the Assembly and also in the House. Legislative Assembly. If you feel that someone is doing wrong in the matter of prohibition, please inform the authorities/government. Some people just give statements in the newspapers that they wrote to the CM. What have you written to CM? In this matter, all the people have to cooperate because the MLAs of all the parties stood together in the house and took a resolution in favor of prohibition. In those days the political parties which were in power and those not in power all supported probation laws. All resolutions related to prohibition were passed unanimously,” Nitish said while replying to a query on the implementation of prohibition.
The CM also said that the people of the opposition are only indulging in making statements in the media today. “All people have to work unitedly on the issue of implementation of prohibition. This is not my personal matter, it is a public issue. It is in everyone’s interest,” Nitish said.
Nitish further said that he would hold a “detailed review meeting” on prohibition on November 16 after the Chhath festival. “I will review how many complaints were received, how many were acted upon, what action was taken and what was the result of those actions. I have already told the DGP and senior officials that I will review everything from every district.
