With some key issues up for discussion, the BCCI Apex Council will meet virtually on Wednesday. Some of the major agenda items will be the appointment of a new selection committee and annual central contracts for players. Besides this, split coaching could also be on the agenda for the shortest format of the game. While it is Rahul Dravid who will continue to coach the team in Tests and ODIs, there are reports that a different coach may be hired for T20Is, as per a report in ANI.
Apart from this, all eyes will also be on Rohit Sharma, who is 35 years old. He is currently struggling to fight off a serious challenger like Hardik Pandya, who is set to become the next T20I captain in the lead-up to the 2024 T20 World Cup in USA and West Indies.
According to sources, the BCCI is also unhappy with the performance of Indian team’s support staff i.e. physio team and fielding coach T Dileep and in such a situation there may be some changes in the support staff going forward.

Earlier, The Indian Express had reported that the BCCI wanted to conduct a performance review after the T20 World Cup but could not do so due to a busy season. The subsequent defeat in Bangladesh had worried the officials.

“We could not meet the Indian team before leaving for Bangladesh as some officials were busy, but we will schedule it as soon as the team returns from Bangladesh. It has been a shameful performance and we did not expect this team to lose to Bangladesh,” a top BCCI official told The Indian Express.
As of now, it is believed that Rohit will lead India in the home World Cup. With Hardik Pandya taking over in the shorter format, in all likelihood.
