A video is now going viral in which a person found a buried treasure after uprooting a tree from the ground. He found a bunch of silver coins which are expected to be centuries old. Netizens are calling it a fake video while accusing the man of planting the treasure beforehand to gain views. The video is now making rounds on Instagram.
In the viral video, a person is seen digging a pit in the ground near a tree. After digging, he uproots a tree and discovers a jar covered in mud. He opens the lid with the help of a claw hammer. Shiny objects are seen in the jar as soon as the lid opens. Covered in mud, the man cleans them and showcases a couple of silver coins in his hand. The coins looked old and valuable. This video has received more than 6 lakh views while many users have expressed their disagreement with the authenticity of the video. One of the users inquired about the price of the silver coins. Others wondered about the inclusion of soil in the jug. One user said the video is fake and has been kept separately while another commented that if someone came across a treasure like this, then they would not record it like this, hence this video seems to be fake.
Recently, a trove of gold and silver coins that experts believe were swindled out of an ailing population by an 18th-century conman has been discovered in central Poland. The volunteer metal detectorists found the treasure hidden underground in multiple locations at the Jeleniowskie mountain range with permission from the local government. The collection includes coins that date back to the 17th century and early 18th century said the the Provincial Office for the Protection of Monuments in Kielce, a city near the mountain range. The heritage explorers have suggested that the treasure seems to prove that tales of notorious Polish fraudster Anthony Jaczewicz were indeed true.
