‘Batman’ Ben Affleck Crashes Mercedes-Benz EQS Worth Rs 2.45 Crore Into Cars In A Parking: Watch Video

Batman is famous among auto enthusiasts. After all, he’s driving around in sick-looking, crazy-looking Batmobiles. Well, Hollywood actor Ben Affleck also played Batman. However, the actor was recently seen struggling with his real-world Batmobile while exiting the parking lot. In the exercise, the actor rammed his all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQS into other cars. Understandably enough, the EQS has a large footprint, and the cars were parked very close. It can be seen in the clip that the actor decided to wait for the car owners. However, when no one showed up, he himself tried to drive away the car.

Ben’s EQS was boxed by the Volvo Saloon and the Nissan Altima. The actor made serious efforts to carefully maneuver his full-size electric sedan out of the parking space with a 10-point turn. Sadly the cars were parked too close to the EQS. Hence, the EQS gently pecks the Nissan Altima and Volvo. It should be noted that the EQS comes with rear-wheel steering, and the video shows how this feature on the sedan was helping reduce the turning radius. This should definitely come as a lesson to Nissan and Volvo owners to leave some space at the front and back while parking the car at a public place.

Talking about the electric saloon, it is the range-topping Mercedes-Benz EQS 53 4MATIC+, which was launched in India last year. This entitles owners to bragging rights with peak power output of 751 PS in AMG mode and peak torque of 1,020 Nm. With dual motors and a 107.8 kWh battery pack, the 0-100 kmph sprint rakes in just 3.4 seconds, while top whack is limited to 220 kmph. The claimed range of this variant is 446 km. On the other hand, the claimed range of the lesser EQS 580 is 857 km.
