‘Anyone Can Do It’: Alia Bhatt’s Yoga Trainer Shares Expert Tip on Flexibility

Yoga trainer Anshuka Parwani, who has coached several Bollywood celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Ananya Panday, busted this myth in her recent Instagram post. Posting a cheeky video of herself, Anushka suggested that whenever people tell you “you need to be flexible to start yoga,” start “running”. Apart from the jokes, the video came with a strong message from the yoga instructor – yoga is for everyone and with the right kind of guidance and dedication, one can become resilient and strong over time.

Addressing the myth, Anshuka said that such a thought should not deter one from starting to do yoga and experiencing all the health benefits that come with the routine. Anyone can do yoga under the right guidance. Whether you’ve done it before, never exercised before, if you’re flexible or not – it doesn’t matter,” she wrote in the caption of her post. She assured that if one is not flexible then they will get there with regular practice and if they are already flexible before doing yoga, then this is also a great place.

A few days ago, Anushka shared a picture of Alia through her Instagram account. In the snap, the actor was seen doing backbends, or kapotasanas. Anushka captioned the post, “Alia Bhatt doing ‘Alia Asan’ with the smile of my heart.” He further revealed that the actor has moved on and is now able to touch the toes while doing the back bend exercise. “Your elegance has been so rewarding to watch as a teacher,” said Anushka.
