Gurgaon: A day after an 80-year-old man was booked under POCSO for allegedly raping an 11-year-old minor, he allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Bilaspur on Thursday. Police said that no note was recovered from the spot.

The minor’s mother told the police that this is not the first time that her daughter has been raped by a person living in her neighbourhood.
The minor had told her mother that the accused had sexually abused her several times in the past, but had threatened her to keep quiet about it.
