RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav on Thursday expressed his desire to have a private meeting with Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Sinha “for two minutes”.
He hinted at the meaning of the time period but did not elaborate.
“I want to meet the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly for two minutes. I have some personal issues. You guys know the meaning of my two minutes.”
Although Tej Pratap Yadav did not elaborate, political circles and the media understood the context.
Recently, when a journalist went to his official residence for an interview, Tej Pratap Yadav asked him to keep the gun mic and camera outside the residence so that he could hold a two-minute meeting alone.
The reporter probably realized that he might be in trouble and escaped, though Tej Pratap Yadav and his personal staff somehow chased him. On that occasion, the RJD leader’s action drew heavy criticism from all sections. Now, his “two minutes” remark has struck a chord again.
