The comedy-drama is also expected to break many records. On day 6, June 29, Jugjug Jio crossed the Rs 50 crore club in India as well. In worldwide collections, it minted around Rs 85 crores.

After its seventh day, Jug Jug Jio surpasses Lifetime India collection Akshay Kumar Rs 49.98 crore film Bachchan Pandey. Meanwhile, the worldwide gross of its first week is around Rs 85 crore. If it maintains the same pace, the film will soon cross the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide. The film is a progressive take on modern-day relationships and follows a family on the verge of two divorces. Directed by Raj Mehta, Jugjug Jio is a comedy drama that centers on a family where both father (Anil Kapoor) and son (Varun Dhawan) are planning to separate from their partner. JJJ marks the return of Neetu Kapoor. Anil plays the role of Neetu’s husband. The film also stars Maniesh Paul and Tisca Chopra.
