Gorakhpur: CM after a gap of two years Yogi Adityanath, this year, will lead both the Holi processions in Gorakhpur – the Holikadahan procession on Thursday evening and Bhagwan Narsingh Holikotsav shobha yatra on Saturday morning.
For the last two years, Yogi could not attend both the events due to the COVID pandemic. After the efforts of the central and state governments to control the Covid, Yogi agreed to participate in both the processions this year.
Every year Gorakshpeethdheeshwar Lord Narasimha rides a chariot drenched in colors and Narasimha wishes everyone a Happy Holi without any discrimination during the Shobha Yatra. After Mahant Digvijaynath, Mahant Avaidyanath, the Yogi who is also the Pithadhishvara, is taking forward the movement of social harmony.
