The huge crowd in the markets regarding the festival of Diwali and during this period the increase in the cases of Kovid-19 in many states has worried the central government. Due to this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently on a tour of Europe, has decided to hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers of six states and DMs of 40 districts as soon as he returns from there. This meeting will be held on November 3, in which questions and answers will be done regarding the slow rate of Kovid-19 vaccination.

The meeting will be held through video conferencing
Prime Minister Modi is currently on a tour of Europe. Where he will participate in the COP26 summit on climate change after the G20 summit. The PMO said on Sunday that Prime Minister Modi will return to India on the night of November 2 with this visit, but seeing the rise in the cases of Kovid-19 again, PM Modi has decided to hold talks with the Chief Ministers and District Magistrates in the afternoon of November 3. This meeting will be held through video conferencing at 12 noon. In this, the ongoing Kovid vaccination campaign in the states will be reviewed.

The PMO said that DMs of 40 districts have been summoned in the meeting, where the 1st dose of Kovid vaccine has been given to less than 50% of the people so far, while the rate of giving 2nd dose is also very low. These 40 districts are from Jharkhand, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and Meghalaya. CMs of some other states have also been called in the meeting.

Concern over getting more than 12 thousand cases
The decision of PM Modi’s meeting has been taken after receiving 12,830 new cases of Kovid-19 within the last 24 hours. According to the Union Health Ministry, 446 people have died during this period, while 14,667 people have recovered from the infection and have become healthy.

There are now a total of 3,42,73,300 cases of Kovid-19 in the country, while the active cases are 1,59,272. So far 3,36,55,842 people have recovered, while 4,58,186 have died.

People who are very negligent, are not getting 2nd dose
After the decrease in corona cases in the country in the past, there has been a lot of negligence among the common people. Many people are avoiding getting the Kovid-19 vaccine. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya recently told that there are 10.34 crore people in the country who have not administered the 2nd dose of Kovid vaccine, even though their expiry period has also passed.

112 crore vaccines have been sent to the states
The central government has so far given 112 crore Kovid vaccines to the states. According to the Ministry of Health, all the states have been instructed to expedite the Kovid vaccination keeping in mind the festivals.
