Woman Among 3 Arrested For Two Murders | Gurgaon News – Times of India

Gurgaon: Three persons, including a woman, have been arrested by the Gurgaon police in connection with two different murders in the past few days.
Both the victims were drivers by profession.
In the first case, a 35-year-old woman and her 22-year-old accomplice were arrested on Friday by the crime branch for the murder of her 47-year-old brother-in-law. Delhi resident Ikrar Hussain, who worked as a driver with a city-based scrap dealer, was found dead on the Gurgaon-Faridabad road on Tuesday.
Officials said the accused woman Gulshana resident of South City-1, is the wife of Ikrar’s younger brother Ibrahim.
She had allegedly roped in Nahim Alvi, a resident of Silokhara, to execute the murder so that she could again move in with her husband. Gulshan and Ibrahim had recently separated “at the behist of Ikrar”.
ACP (crime) Preet Pal Sangwan said that Nahim took Ikrar to the Gurgaon-Faridabad road and strangled him with a muffler. “We got clues from the tiffin box of Ikrar and the mobile phone found near the crime spot. Gulshan disliked Ikrar and held him responsible for her differences with her husband,” he said.
In another case, a 44-year-old taxi driver Sanjay Kumar, who was out of work for the past two months, was found dead in Rithoj village of Gurgaon on Wednesday. The victim left his home on Wednesday evening saying he would be back in a few hours. He was later found dead with head injuries.
Cops arrested Gaurav (22) from Rithoj in connection with the murder.
“Guarav had a dispute with Sanjay and his brother. Gaurav found Sanjay alone in an inebriated state and he smashed his head with a stone and a sharp iron object, leading to his death,” the ACP said.
