IndusInd Bank has partnered with Vistara Airlines to introduce a co-branded credit card ‘Club Vistara IndusInd Bank Explorer’ to its customers. The new credit card comes with a host of flight benefits including complimentary business class tickets, membership to Vistara’s frequent flyer program and lounge access. Speaking at the launch, Soumitra Sen, Head-Consumer Bank, IndusInd Bank said that the card was introduced with an aim to enhance the travel experience of the customers. He added that as the world is slowly opening up after the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, people would like to travel for both leisure and business, and this card aims to give them a hassle-free experience with great rewards.
The credit card club comes with complimentary membership of Vistara (CV) under which they can earn points on every flight. These accumulated CV points can be redeemed for availing flights. The card enables cashless travel to multiple destinations across the globe.
Vinod Kannan, Chief Commercial Officer, Vistara, expressed happiness at the new partnership and hoped that the customers will experience the benefits while traveling with the airlines.
Among the key benefits offered with the card are complimentary access to over 600 airport lounges across the globe. The cardholder will get five complimentary business class tickets on achieving spending milestones every year along with rescheduling fee waiver on direct booking of Vistara flights.
There is a complimentary personal air accident insurance with a cover of up to Rs 2.5 crore, as well as insurance against lost or late arrival of luggage, lost passport, ticket as well as missed connection.
However, the benefits of this credit card are not just limited to air travel. The financial benefits of the card include complete waiver on fuel surcharge at petrol pumps across India and complete waiver on late payment charges, cash withdrawal charges along with higher customs charges.
Cardholders will also get a luxury gift voucher worth Rs 25,000 or gift card to Oberoi Hotel and Resort along with two complimentary cinema tickets worth Rs 700 per month and complimentary meal vouchers worth Rs 3000 twice a year.
