New Delhi: Minister of Textiles Piyush Goyal said on Thursday that he would ensure reforms textile sector And it holds huge opportunities as exports increase.
Taking charge of the Ministry of Textiles, he said that this sector will play an important role in promoting Brand India across the world.
“Textiles is a huge sector for employment, so this is a huge opportunity through this sector. The government will try to give a big support to the income of all the people working in this sector, especially women,” he told reporters.
“We will ensure that this sector can be further improved and exports can be promoted,” he said.
Minister of State for Textiles Darshan Vikram ZardoshiShe said that she will help develop and promote the textiles sector and make it a major sector for ‘Make in India’.
Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Anupriya Patel Took charge on Thursday as well.
she was chosen for Lok Sabha From Mirzapur constituency in 2014 and again in 2019.
She was also the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare from 2016 to 2019.
