Weight Loss Story: “Having Oats With Water And Protein For Breakfast Helped Me Lose Weight Faster” | The Times of India

My breakfast: I usually enjoy eating pro-oats (oats with water and protein). It tastes good and I get a good amount of macros. But after some time, in order to accelerate the result, I started intermittent fasting, so I skipped breakfast.

My lunch: Let’s start with a salad of cucumber, tomato and onion. Then dal and 1 roti (jowar) I generally abstain from wheat. and green vegetables. That makes perfect macro as I am a vegetarian.

Dinner: Vegetable soup, soya chunks and rice which gives me the right amount of protein, carbs and fat. Few days Chole, Rajma etc.

Pre-workout meal: Pro oats or banana etc.

After workout: Protein shake with/without banana.

What I’d Have on My Cheat Days: I followed cheat meals, not cheat days, in which I ate everything I wanted, with just one meal. Pizza, Samosa, Chole Bhature, Punjabi, Chinese etc. No limits. How much should you eat? But only for 1 meal.

Low-calorie recipes I love: moong dal dosa, hummus (chickpea-protein), rajma chawal (measured amount) so that it fits my calories.
