Dwayne Bravo was seen dancing his heart out after CSK beat Gujarat Titans to seal their place in the IPL 2023 final

Once a player, now a coach, Dwayne Bravo has certainly been one of the most fascinating personalities in the Chennai Super Kings dugout. Bravo, who is now serving as Chennai’s bowling coach, went into celebration after the team booked their ticket to the IPL final for a record 10th time. Bravo was seen dancing his heart out with his wards in the lift after Chennai bowlers’ win against Gujarat Titans at Chepauk.

The session was revealed through a live video on the official Instagram page of the Chennai franchise. A Twitter page called Out of Context Cricket dropped a recorded version of DJ Bravo’s celebration. The Caribbean legend can be seen holding a speaker in his hand and dancing to the beats with the junior members of the Chennai team. Other team members including Dhoni and Deepak Chahar were waiting outside the lift and enjoying the fun-filled celebration.

Soon after the video surfaced on the internet, Chennai fans swooped down on the comments section praising Dwayne Bravo’s energy and passion for the game of cricket.

A fan made a ridiculous comparison to highlight the difference between the senior and junior team members of Chennai, saying it looked like “frontbencher vs backbencher”.

A fan thought that the lift might fall down due to the loud dance by Dwayne Bravo and Chennai players.

Batting first on a slow Chepauk surface, Chennai got off to a flying start thanks to a stellar batting display from their opening pair of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway. Both stayed at the crease till the 11th over when Gaikwad returned to the hut after scoring 60 runs in 44 balls. Behind the wicket, Gujarat tried to gather momentum and took some back-to-back wickets. Conway’s 40-run innings and some cameos helped Chennai to struggle for 172 runs on the board.

In reply, Gujarat’s batting unit surrendered to Chennai’s spinner duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Mahesh Tikshana. The only notable score came with the bat from Shubman Gill as the star opener smashed 42 off 38 balls. Rashid Khan tried to speed up the innings in the end but in the end fell 15 runs short of the target. The Chennai pacers also shone on the occasion with Deepak Chahar and Mathisha Pathirana taking two wickets each.
