This year 6518 candidates qualified for the exam and have to appear for the interview round

United Public Service Commission has announced UPSC CDS I Result 2023 On May 4, 2023. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their result through the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The written examination of UPSC-CDS was to be held on April 16, 2023. This year 6518 candidates passed the exam and have to appear for the interview.

The official statement of UPSC read “On the basis of results of the Combined Defense Services Examination (I), 2023 conducted by Union Public Service Commission On 16th April, 2023, 6518 candidates bearing the following Roll Numbers have (i) qualified for interview by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defense for admission to the 156th (DE) Course commencing in January, 2024 at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun have received. (ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, course commencing in Jan, 2024 (iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (215F(P)) commencing in Jan, 2024 (iv) Officer Training Academy Chennai 119th SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in April, 2024 and (v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 33rd SSC Women (Non-Technical) (UPSC) Course commencing in April, 2024 .

UPSC CDS 1 RESULT 2023: How to check result

Step 1: Visit the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: You will reach the homepage. On the homepage, navigate to the link for UPSC CDS I Result 2023. Select on link.

Step 3: A new PDF file will open on a new tab where candidates can check their roll number. All the details to check the results are mentioned on the admit card.

Step 4: Download the page and keep a hard copy of it for further references.

Candidates who qualify the written test and declared Indian Army (IMA/OTA) as their first choice, need to register on Indian Army Recruiting Directorate website to be called for SSB interview. It is requested that the candidates who have already registered on the website of Recruiting Directorate may not do so again. Within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result of OTA (after completion of SSB interview), the website of the Commission will make available the mark sheets of those candidates who did not qualify. The marksheet will be available there for 30 days.
