UP Exam Shocker! BA Students Make Elder Brother Sit For Exam. Then This Happened…

Unnao, 27 February (IANS) | A BA student has been arrested in Unnao district for allegedly giving arts paper for the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Board exams on behalf of his younger brother.

The accused, identified as Shadab of Sherpur Kalan, said he appeared for the exam because his younger brother’s drawing was “poor”.

Shadab reached Shakuntala Devi Kashiram Vidyalaya located in Mustafabad, the examination center in the first shift.

After about half an hour, the static magistrate reached the center with the team.

During verification, the team found that Shadab was taking the exam in place of the actual candidate, Mukim.

Shadab told Static Magistrate Ram Lakhan that his younger brother’s drawing was bad, so he decided to appear on his behalf.

The team handed over Shadab to the police.

After questioning, a case has been registered against Shadab on the Tahrir of center in-charge Varsharani Mishra.

Kotwali Inspector Gyanendra Singh said that on the basis of the complaint, the accused has been arrested.

“Investigation is underway. A case has been registered against the accused on the charges of cheating, impersonation and cheating,” the inspector said.

Center in-charge said that efforts are being made to find out whether Shadab had appeared in any other paper instead of his brother.

“We are scanning the CCTV footage for verification,” he added.
