“The Secretary-General strongly condemns today’s suicide attack on a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan,” said Guterres’ spokesman Stephane Dujarric.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday condemned the “abhorrent” blast at a mosque in Pakistan that killed at least 61 people and injured 150 inside a highly sensitive police headquarters.
“The Secretary-General strongly condemns today’s suicide bombing at a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan. It is particularly abhorrent that such an attack occurred at a place of worship,” said Guterres’ spokesman Stephane Dujarric.
