LONDON: British officials are urgently investigating the circumstances surrounding a ship that was seized in France, Britain‘Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Minister’ George Eustis said on Thursday.
When asked by an MLA in Parliament whether the trawler has a licence, eustat said: “My officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding this vessel which has been detained in France. It is too early to pinpoint exactly what happened.”
He said that I have seen reports that it was originally on a list and then it was not in the list, but it is something which I have asked my officials to investigate immediately.
