Gurugram: Two victims died on Tuesday in house number A-80 of Rajendra Park. Interrogation of the prime suspect, Rao Rai Singh (65), revealed that his daughter-in-law Sunita and his tenant’s wife Anamika were alive nearly four hours after he first stabbed them at 2.30 pm on Tuesday.
Police said that he later attacked the killer after seeing both of them gasping for breath.

Singh was not the only actor. His wife Bimlesh (58), who was with him when he went on a murder spree, also killed Anamika’s husband and elder daughter – was arrested on Wednesday, police said.
While Bimlesh was sent to judicial custody, the police obtained Singh’s remand for two days. Police officials said the sequence of events showed that the killings were not committed in anger. Singh had reportedly started planning the murders a few days ago and sharpened the knife used to cut trees.
In his statement to the police, Singh has alleged that he came to know earlier this year that his daughter-in-law was having an illicit relationship with Krishna. He claimed that he saw the two of them in “objectionable condition” twice – this January and again on August 21 – on both occasions in the second-floor quarter where Krishna and his family lived.
However, the Tiwari family claims that Krishna had come to Singh’s house only four months ago. Sunita’s family has alleged that the story of the affair was fabricated to hide the real reason, which her brother alleged was an acre of land which Singh, a property dealer, was eyeing.
According to the developments now with the police, Anand had left the house with a friend from Rajendra Park at around 6.30 pm. Rajasthan Rajasthan. His wife Sunita and their daughter remained at home.
At around 2 pm, Singh knocked on the door of Sunita’s bedroom. When Sunita opened the door, Singh allegedly hit her on the head repeatedly with an axe.
Meanwhile, Bimlesh allegedly entered Sunita’s room through the balcony door to get out of her room. When Sunita bled in blood, the couple together went upstairs where Singh broke into the main door of Krishna’s house. Krishna was the first to be attacked.
She tried to run away but Singh overpowered her, dragged her back to the room and killed her. Anamika, Krishna’s wife, who pleaded for mercy, and her two daughters were attacked.
At 2.31 a.m., Singh came back to his house and called Anand to tell him about the murders, then changed into fresh clothes and washed his kurta covered in blood. Singh went for his normal morning work.
After allegedly hitting Sunita and Anamika a second time, Singh again left the house for the police station.
ACP Kumar said, “He said he is ready for punishment and has no remorse.”
