The trailer of upcoming Kannada film Harikathe Alla Girikathe is out. The trailer, which released on June 14, is getting a good response and has garnered more than 7 lakh views on YouTube.
Directed by filmmaker duo Karan Ananth and Anirudh Mahesh, the film starring Rishabh Shetty will hit the theaters on June 23.
The comic drama stars Rachna Inder, NP Tejaswini, Honnavali Krishna and Pramod Shetty in lead roles. The film is directed by Sandesh Nagraj of Sandesh Productions in association with Rishabh Shetty Films.
The makers released a song titled Junior Monalisa from the film last month and the video of the track has garnered over 32 lakh views on YouTube. It is sung and composed by Vasuki Vaibhav, while lyrics are penned by Trilok Trivikram. Fans are loving Vaibhav’s singing as well as Rishabh’s portrayal in the song.
Praising the singer, a comment read, “How can Vasuki Vaibhav manage to amaze everyone every time? Kya gana hai yaar, he always keeps it simple, melodious and brilliant.” Another fan added, “Simple and pleasant musical score.”
The story of the film revolves around Giri, a boy played by Rishabh Shetty, who is in search of a producer for his film. Also, it shows how three individuals come together to fulfill their goals with the same aim of making it big in the film industry. His journey to establish a foothold in the film industry continues through comical storylines.
The film is bankrolled by Sandesh Nagraj under the banner of Sandesh Productions. Vasuki Vaibhav has composed the music for the film while Giri Krishna has written the story.
Rishabh was last seen in Raj B Shetty’s Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahan. On the work front, apart from Harikathe Alla Girikathe, the actor-director is also working on their next directorial venture together, Kantara.
