He also said that the ministry will prepare a plan as to how other ministries involved in the initiative can work in synergy.
“Through this initiative, branding and promotion can be done by writing articles in magazines and other publications and by other means so that the brand Incredible India can be promoted more effectively,” Reddy said.

Addressing a two-day conference of Tourism and Culture Ministers of South India in Bengaluru on Thursday, the Union Tourism Minister also said that the initiative aims to connect all the states and talk to the Ministry and its various organs to solve the problem. Developing new programs around the government’s priority programs like Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav under the Ministry of Culture. Swadesh Darshan Planning under the Ministry of Tourism, he said that the conference will help to apprise the various stakeholders about the projects and initiatives being taken by the Center for the development of the region.

He called upon the southern states and union territories to participate effectively in the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
He said, “India’s civilizational heritage is thousands of years old and this ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is also an occasion to pay tribute to all those who fought for the preservation of our heritage.”
Ministers and officials of Tourism and Culture of Telangana, Kerala, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep also participated in the two day conference and highlighted the impact of Corona on tourism in the states and future programmes.
Reddy said that as a next step, his ministry will host tourism and culture ministers from all states in a conference to discuss issues and programs in Kevadiya, Gujarat. He said that the date of the program has not been decided yet.
