A 20-year-old woman in Telangana’s Suryapet district was allegedly raped multiple times over three days by two men, including the son of a local politician, who was offered soft drinks in a soft drink, police said on Monday. Police said the incident took place from Friday night to Sunday at the house of one of the accused in Kodad town. One of the two knew the victim.
Police said that he asked her to come to his house on the pretext of some work and she was given a cold drink after which the two men raped and assaulted her several times. He told that the woman went to her house on Sunday night and informed the family members about the matter and filed a complaint today.
Acting on the complaint, both were taken into custody while the woman was sent for medical examination, he said.
