The ruling party in Tripura wins 100 unopposed seats in the municipal corporation

According to sources, the ruling BJP has won 112 out of 334 seats in 20 municipalities without a contest. According to the Election Department, the polling day has been fixed on November 25 in various municipalities including Agartala Pur Corporation.

Many workers of our party have been attacked. They did not allow our party’s candidates to submit nominations in 5 municipalities and 2 nagar panchayats. BJP spokesperson Navendu Bhattacharya said, “We also don’t want to win without contesting.” But the opposition has no approval. However, there will be a fight over the rest of the seats.
