Bhubaneswar: Politics has intensified regarding the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) of the state government. BJP calling it an election campaign Congress Health card is a must have for all.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik On Sunday announced a plan to expand BSKY from the existing 71.69 lakh to cover 96 lakh families. That is, out of the 4.5 crore population of the state, about 3.5 crore people will get smart health cards.
BJP state general secretary Lekhshree Samantsinghar Told the media on Wednesday that BSKY is a failed scheme. “It could not be implemented successfully in all the districts. The health sector in Odisha is in bad shape. The state government should implement it without any delay. Ayushman Bharat In Orissa For the benefit of the people,” Samantasinghar said.
Congress state president Niranjan Patnaik said that the government should involve all the people in the scheme. “Why will one crore Odias be deprived of the scheme?” He asked.
