Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) continued its action on Wednesday illegal construction For the third day in a row.

The TMC said the civic body chief has ordered the demolition of the illegal construction where the work has been completed but people have not started living.
Six more such structures were demolished on Wednesday. These include – three RCC structures, one dhaba in Majiwada-Manpada area, and one RCC construction each in Kalwa and Naupada.
On Tuesday, action was taken on 13 structures in Majiwada-Manpada and Kalwa divisions (wards).
Municipal Commissioner Bipin Sharma has ordered to continue the action on unauthorized construction in all the ward committees.
