The report is based on a post in the Telegram subreddit (via Dylan Roussell) which says that messanger There may soon be a feature to hide “sensitive or movie spoilers”.
According to the report, whenever a user tries to text a spoiler in a chat, the message sent will be distorted in such a way that it will be impossible to understand what the message conveyed. “There is no note that hidden content in chats is considered a spoiler other than a small eye icon, so you and your friends may need to get used to the new format first,” the report said.
While the report is about text, it would be better if the spoiler detection feature can also share media like photos and video clips for a more efficient experience for the users. Furthermore, if developers can add a more prominent icon to the suspicious message that shouts a warning to users, it will give more opportunities to achieve the goal for which it was created.
