Telangana: Rachakonda Police arrests three inter-state thieves, recovers valuables worth Rs 17 lakh. Hyderabad News – Times of India

The police have arrested 22-year-old Sheikh Wasim, a driver from Nizamabad, Sheikh Amir, 22, a mechanic from Adilabad, and SK Firoz, a 21-year-old mason from Kanchanbagh, for three thefts in Meerpet during the last few months.

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Special Operations Team Officials of Yadadri Bhongir District Telangana three arrested interstate thieves and recovered stolen property worth Rs 17 lakh from their possession.

The police have arrested 22-year-old Sheikh Wasim, a driver from Nizamabad, Sheikh Amir, 22, a mechanic from Adilabad, and SK Firoz, a 21-year-old mason from Kanchanbagh, for three thefts in Meerpet during the last few months.
Police have recovered 14.3 tola of gold, Rs 9.63 lakh in cash, a bike and two mobile phones from them.
On July 27, the accused forcibly broke open the main door of the house of G Mallesh in Visakha Nagar, Meerpet.
They fled with valuables worth Rs 70,000.
On the same day, the accused entered the house of N Kumar Swamy in Visakha Nagar by breaking the lock of the main door and stole gold and silver items worth Rs 40,000.
After this, on August 2, the accused entered Dr. Vidyanand Arya’s house at Sri Krishna Colony in Meerpet and fled with gold, silver and cash worth Rs 25.1 lakh.
Police analyzed the CCTV footage installed near the spot and identified the accused.
The accused are relatives and among them Wasim and Amir have criminal history.
Keeping an eye on the activities of the suspects, the police arrested them from Firoz’s house in Kanchanbagh on Wednesday night.
The accused were sent to judicial custody on Thursday.
