FM asked officials to complete 100 percent online auditing by taking Ranga Reddy district on pilot basis.

Telangana Finance and Health Minister T Harish Rao on Tuesday directed the officials concerned to conduct online audits for transparency in all departments. Harish Rao met the secretaries and heads of departments and directed them to complete the work in five to six months.
FM asked officials to complete 100 percent online auditing by taking Ranga Reddy district on pilot basis. Rao lauded the Panchayat Raj Department for achieving the target. The Minister appreciated the officers for resolving 2400 objections in the department and recovering Rs 1.26 crore from the exchequer. He said that online audit would solve the problems in Panchayats, Municipalities and local bodies. The Secretaries and Heads of Departments should take steps to address the relevant issues while conducting the audit. He said that the online auditing process should be completed at the earliest.
In another program at NIMS Hospital, the minister said that the state is prepared to deal with the corona third wave or its variant omicron with all measures. He offered to provide corporate services to the people.
After inaugurating and inspecting the functioning of various equipments worth Rs 12 crore in the hospital, Rao said that Rs 154 crore was allocated for getting the latest equipment to provide more facilities and corporate services to the hospital. Apart from 89 ventilators, NIMS will get 200 more ICU beds and 120 ventilators in about 45 days.
Rao said that people coming to NIMS should get a meal of five rupees. He said that in case cases of omicrons were found in other states, the Telangana government took all measures to contain it.
