Sushant Singh Rajput’s beloved dog Fudge has passed away. The heartbreaking news of his demise was shared by Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh on Twitter in the early hours of Tuesday. Sharing pictures of the pet dog with the late actor, Priyanka wrote, “So long fudge! You’ve joined your friend’s heavenly realms…will follow soon! Till then..to heartbroken.”
Several fans of the Chhichhore star took to the thread and expressed their condolences to the family. “I am so sorry di, sending you to love it is absolutely heartbreaking for us. They are now reunited in heaven. And I knew, dogs don’t live forever after their owner is gone. Fudge,” tweeted one fan. “Gee, can’t explain how heartbroken I am. This news once again broke my heart into a million pieces. Anyone/anything related to Sushant is very close to my heart. All I can say is my Sona Di, stay strong although this loss is unbearable. I am speechless and heartbroken. Miss you fudge” added another.

The news of Fudge’s death came a few days before Sushant Singh Rajput’s birth anniversary. The actor passed away on June 14, 2020. He was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai. His death shook the nation. While the initial investigation termed his death as a ‘suicide’, the actor’s family claimed a conspiracy. His death was investigated by the Mumbai Police before being transferred to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Sushant’s girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty was also arrested and charged with procuring contraband for SSR.
