Supertech: SIT seeks more time to submit report Noida News – Times of India

Noida/Lucknow: Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case Supertech Emerald Court The project matter has sought extension for submission of its report.
Sources told the Times of India that the SIT has sought time till September 30 to complete the probe as the response of the officers under the scanner is still awaited.
More than 40 employees were involved in revising the building maps of the Twin Towers that were in violation of the building bylaws.
“Among them, it is a difficult task to identify those who violate the rules. We have to look at several aspects before recommending or stating anything in the SIT report.
The Uttar Pradesh government on September 2 constituted a four-member SIT under Infrastructure and Industries Development Commissioner Sanjeev Mittal, who is also the chairman of the Noida Authority.
The SIT has been tasked with identifying officials who colluded with the real estate conglomerate and allowed violations of building regulation rules and bye-laws between 2006 and 2012.
