Subhash Ghai shares an interesting fact about Late Dilip Kumar

The ‘thespian’ Dilip Kumar is no more with us but he has surely left his infinite memories among his fans, friends and family members. Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who directed Dilip Kumar in the film “Karma”, on Friday revealed that the late actor had never endorsed any advertisement in his life except that he did not charge a single penny.

“Dilip Kumar always stood by his friends.. In his entire career he never did any advertisement, the only exception being Baburao Patel, editor of Film India magazine, who was also into naturopathy. He offered his product free of cost as a friend. I support you,” Ghai tweeted.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who has directed Dilip Kumar in films like “Vidhata”, “Karma” and “Saudagar”, had earlier tweeted: “Sadest day of my life. Dilip sahab Yusuf Bhai chale gaye, my most My personal loss for the precious idol. No words. Rip Saheb.”

Dilip Kumar breathed his last in Mumbai on 7 July at the age of 98. He was cremated with full state honors at Juhu Cemetery in Mumbai.

Talking about Dilip Kumar’s acting career, it spanned more than six decades. He acted in more than 65 films in his career and for his iconic roles in films like ‘Devdas’ (1955), ‘Naya Daur’ (1957), ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ (1960), ‘Ganga Jamuna’ are known. 1961), ‘Kranti’ (1981), and ‘Karma’ (1986). His last film was ‘Qila’, which released in 1998.
